will children do at each class? =
Music
Activity (Large Motor Skills, Music Appreciation, Listening, Singing): Each class will ha=
ve
activities involving music. The children will learn basic songs to
sing. Children will also dance and move to the music. All music
activity is led by the leader. =

Story
(Listening, Comprehension, Spiritual Growth)=

A story or Bible lesson will be the focal point of each Toddler Power H=
our.
The lesson will be taught using a variety of methods including dramatic
play and felt board stories. Children are encouraged to listen and
respond to each story. =

Activity
(Large Motor Skills): Large motor skills are honed
during our activity time. Each class has a different large or small
group activity that includes ball throwing games, scavenger hunts, tunn=
el
crawl, parachute or the limbo stick, to name a few. =

siblings welcome? =

This
program is open to everyone regardless of their church affiliation.&nbs=
p;Because
we believe strongly in teaching Christian principles to children, we wi=
ll
have Bible stories and often Christian-themed crafts at the classes. Toddler Power Hour is for children
ages 18 months through age four and their parent or caregiver.
The hour includes a Christ centered
time of stories, exploring
music, movements, crafts, and more. A snack is provided. Introductory class =

will be from 9:30am-10:30am. Spring session held
April-June meeting
the first & third Fridays of
the month from 9:30am-10:30am at
Building Blocks Christian Learning Cen=
ter. =
The
session fee is $10.00 per family. This fee covers all materials, crafts=
and
snacks. We ask for the payment by or at the first class.
Art (Fine Motor Skills, Creativity): Students will also particip=
ate
in an art activity at each class. The students are encouraged in their
creativity and individualism while learning to use crayons, glue, paint,
stickers and more.
Snack: We provide a snack during class time. The snack time
nourishes the children and provides another learning experience as the
students sit together at a table and interact social=
ly
during this time.
Younger siblings are welcome to attend with their parent or caregiver a=
nd
enrolled student at no additional cost. We have volunteers available at
each class to keep an eye on your littlest one while you spend quality =
time
with your toddler. If you have any questions about bringing other
children to the program, please feel free to contact us.
